Viareggio Carnival Cup

Great season opening in Viareggio (Italy), with the come back of the traditional “Carnival Cup”. 40 sailors battled in light breeze on the Massaciùccoli lake. Wind extremely light on day 1 and between 8-12 knots on day 2. Location was Torre del Lago Puccini, where the famous opera composer Giacomo Puccini lived and worked , with a perfect joint organization managed by Nimbus Surfing Club and Circolo Velico Torre del Lago. After 5 races (1 discard) the race was won by Luca Frascari (light weight and overall), Alessandro Torzoni (heavy weight) and Giada Zalapi.
