Thanks to the dedication of our members, the Windsurfer Class Association continues to grow, with the European Association playing a key role in coordinating activities across the continent. Now, it’s time to renew the Board for the 2025–2028 term.

If you are eager to get involved and contribute to the continued growth of the Class, this is your chance!

Candidacies will be open until April 13th, 2025. Voting will take place from April 21st to May 4th.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS WILL CONSIST OF 9 MEMBERS

  • President (1): Represents the association and serves as its official voice, ensuring that decisions are effectively communicated and upheld.
  • Secretary/Vice President (1): Implements Board decisions, oversees correspondence, and manages financial records and administrative tasks.
  • Board Members (7): Contribute to decision-making by proposing and voting on key matters.

What will be the role of the Board of Directors?
The governing body of the Windsurfer Class Europe will be responsible for setting its strategic direction, promoting the class in Europe and ensuring its smooth operation. This includes setting guidelines, organizing events, developing programs for youth, proposing evolutions/improvements to class rules and enhancing communication with the Windsurfer community.

How the board members will help the Windsurfer Class?
Members will contribute their skills and experience to grow and strengthen the class, supporting national fleets, improving communication and coordination between countries and engaging with sponsors. Active participation and collaboration will be key to achieving these goals.

All active members. To be able to express your vote, you will need to log in to windsurferclass.com.

Note: IWCA Italy, established as an organizational unit within the European association, will hold its own dedicated elections to appoint its board, having a separate accounting and management.
